After graduating from the Middle East Technical University, Department of Economics in 1997, he started his career at Coopers & Lybrand, now known as PwC. Seeing the potential in the operational leasing sector, he founded Hedef Filo in 2003 with his business partner Ersan Öztürk, and started working as Finance Manager at Hedef Alliance Holding A.Ş. in 2001. Serving as Managing Director since its inception, Erdem was the Chairman of the Board of Directors of TOKKDER between 2008-2012 and is also a member of the Board of Directors of Hedef Filo.
After graduating from Koç University's Department of Business Administration in 1998, he started his career at Dundas, Ünlü & Co., which provides consulting services in company acquisitions and sales. While the operational leasing sector was still developing, he founded Hedef Filo with Önder Erdem in 2003. Öztürk, who has served as Managing Director since its establishment, took over the management of TikTak company in May 2020 and continues to serve as the Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of Hedef Filo.
